How much does a website cost?
There is no single price for a website, because the work behind two sites that look similar can be very different. A five-page company site and an online store with a product catalogue, payments and customer accounts are different projects. This calculator gives you a realistic starting point by pricing the package that fits your project and the extras you want to add.
What affects the price
- Number of pages and sections. More pages mean more design, writing and testing.
- Custom design or template. A design built around your brand takes longer than a customised theme.
- Features. Contact forms are simple. Online payments, user accounts, booking, dashboards and integrations add real development work.
- Content. Text, photos and logos need to come from somewhere. If you need them written or designed, plan for that too.
- SEO and marketing. A site that is built to be found costs more upfront than one that only looks good, but it can save money on advertising later.
- Support after launch. Updates, fixes and security checks continue after the site goes live.
WordPress or a custom application?
WordPress is a strong choice for company websites, blogs and small online stores, because you can edit pages and publish posts yourself without a developer. A custom .NET or mobile application is the better fit when you need your own business logic, different user roles, reports, or a product that people install on their phones. Custom software costs more because it is built around your exact workflow instead of an existing platform.
Costs people forget to budget for
- Your domain name and hosting, which are normally paid to the provider you choose.
- Premium plugins, stock photos, fonts or paid third-party services.
- Content writing, translation and product photography.
- Ongoing maintenance, backups and security.
How to get an accurate quote
Write down the pages you need, the features that matter most, two or three websites you like, and the date you would like to launch. Share who will provide the content. With that information, any agency can give you a clear scope and price. When you click "Request this quote" above, we open our quote form with your selections already filled in, so you only need to add your details.
Ways to keep the budget under control
- Start with a smaller package and grow later, instead of paying for features you will not use in the first months.
- Decide the must-have features before the project starts. Changes made halfway through are the most common reason a budget grows.
- Prepare your text and images early so the project is not waiting on content.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this estimate?
It is based on our current starting prices for each package and the extras you select. Your final price depends on the real scope, such as the number of pages, features and content. We confirm everything in a written quote before any work begins.
What affects the cost of a website?
The biggest factors are the number of pages, whether the design is custom or based on a template, the features you need (online store, user accounts, booking, integrations), who provides the content and images, and how much support you want after launch.
Are domain and hosting included in the estimate?
The estimate covers the deliverables listed for each package. Domain names, hosting and paid third-party plugins or services are typically separate costs. Mention your setup in the quote request and we will confirm what applies to your project.
Should I choose WordPress or a custom .NET application?
WordPress suits company websites, blogs and small online stores because you can edit content yourself. A custom .NET application makes sense when you need your own business logic, user roles, reports or integrations that a standard website cannot handle.
How long will my project take?
It depends on the package and scope. For example, our Web Development Basic package is delivered in 7–10 days and WordPress Development Basic in 5–7 days. For larger builds we agree a timeline with you in the quote.
Does the calculator save or send my choices?
No. It runs in your browser and nothing is stored. Your choices are only passed on if you click the button to request a quote, which opens our quote form with a summary filled in.
